Nuande Silva AKA PEKEL, is a brazilian surfer that came to Portugal (Cascais) in 2002. He’s now 26 and in 2009 joined Lightning Bolt Team.
Mostly known for the extremely creative manoeuvres like aerials or tubes, he also develops his creativity as a cooker in one of the trendiest restaurants in Lisbon.
Pekel has a genuine pure surf spirit although in competition he’s really hard to beat as the results tell.
Brazil State champion for all categories, Brazil junior vice champion Pernambuco stage and a 4th place in a european WQS contest are just some of his highlights
When is not surfing he listens to hip hop and everytime he tries to show his dancing skills in the trendiest discos tasting a good beer
He sees himself as a total liberal hippie nigga always fighting for justice and equality in the world.
