After the recent surf trip to Costa Rica with the Bolt Team and his last visit to Brazil for the re-launching event of the brand in S. Paulo, the Pipeline surf icon and Lightning Bolt ambassador is back to Brazilian territory!
Always in such a good mood and with a contagious cheerfulness, together with the Lightning Bolt Brazil Team, Rory Russell will go on a road trip through the three most famous surf playgrounds in Brazil: S. Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Floripa.

26/May to 28/May – S. Paulo
Rory Russell, the two-time Pipeline Masters Champion and world famous shaper for its legendary Pipeliner model – revolutionary fast and highly maneuverable surf board for the big and hollow waves of Pipeline at the time – is one of the special guests for the 8th edition of the Alma Surf Festival 2011.
During the three days of the event there will be enough time for chatting with Rory, at the Lightning Bolt booth, to see his boards’ exhibition and the unique opportunity to take home an autographed poster of the Hawaiian surf legend.
Autograph’s session during the 3 days from 6pm to 7pm.
29 /May to 1 /June – Floripa
Rory Russell will be in the magic Island of Floripa visiting surf shops and local shapers, surfing with old friends and the new generation of riders, together with the Brazilian Bolt rider Israel Rocha and press.
2 to 4 /June – Rio de Janeiro
Together with the renown surfer Ricardo Bocão from Rio de Janeiro, Rory Russell continues the road trip in the Wonderful City, again visiting surf shops and shapers and surfing around with friends and fans.
The world surf icon and Lightning Bolt ambassador is taking to Brazil his Aloha feeling and charisma, the true spirit of surfing. The Pure Source.
