BOLT 4 FREE – BE A BOLT DESIGNER

We want to have a garment or a fashion accessory in the new Lightning Bolt Spring|Summer 2011 Collection signed by you!!!
And, besides, we want it to be the item that all surfers will want to have.
If you want to be the author of the next Lightning Bolt’s best seller item, send us the design for a piece of clothing or fashion accessory or only the print/design/illustration for standard article (t-shirt, long sleeve, sweatshirt, backpack, boardshort, rash vest). You just have to be sure that any surfer will want to buy it!
There’s no limit for your creativity, except the fact that your proposal will have to be attractive and inspiring for as many surfers as possible in the shops.
The best idea will be part of our production next year and sold in all European countries where Lightning Bolt is selling is collection.
To be our newest invited fashion designer, you have to show us, and to our fans, why do you deserve it.

Obs: On Facebook you’ll have to send jpg or png formats. If you wish to send us files in other formats (AI, Freehand, Photoshop, etc) afterwards, send them to:

Who wins?
Choosing the winner will depend on the number of fans of your idea and, also, on our opinion. The decision will be taken upon:
The fans’ votes on each idea: the one who gathers more “I Like this” and positive comments – 50%
The Lightning Bolt’s crew opinion – 50%

The Collapsible surfboard revolution, by Nicholas Notara

Maybe Nicholas Notara, the designer that conceived this idea is strongly targeting the Japanese consumers. They are always looking for ideas to save room. Or it might be a great product to target those who ride a bike to go to beach.
Made from carbon-fiber, designed carefully to maintain the balance and weight of its traditional counterpart, and with the help of 2 pins and a quick release level can halve in size.
After the collapsible bikes and even all types of furniture, now the surfers have their collapsible surfboard option, although it’s not avaible
Maybe one day, Lego will start to make surfboards. Let’s hope not.
