Lightning Bolt is the mark of authenticity. It has been wholly invested in a true life of growth and passion since its birth in 1970s Hawaii. We here at Lightning Bolt believe in a certain man, one who is unafraid of the untouched frontier awaiting him, whose lifestyle is that which brings him alive. It is he who knows that the most important piece any man can bear is his very own streak of adventure  all we are here to do is simply help him to finish the look.

That is why we are proud to present our Fall Winter collection for the year 2013. Once again any man can count on our buttery tri-blend fleeces, our timeless board shorts, incredibly engineered knits, and the finest and most functional wool and cashmere blends, as well a new frontier in the Aloha shirt. Our long-sleeve Winter Aloha shirt  100% cotton, with raw coconut buttons and a classic cut  offers men a piece they can be proud to wear in any occasion while feeling relaxed and looking timeless.

Our colors and prints this year are born of 50s and 60s Hawaiian interiors. We have found the most inspiring palate of sun-beaten earth tones as well as fresh bright pops fused with materials that have the tangibility of a time unforgotten. Together with our impressive spread of layering cable knits, breathable wools, and our French goose down jackets, one can find comfort, function, and style for any adventure in any location.

In 2013 Lightning Bolt has pulled together the kind of on-going story of which men have already learned the early legends, yet they cannot wait to see which new direction it will take them. Watch closely as we continue to preserve the old World and shape the new.

# FIRST LOOK LIGHTNING BOLT NEW SEASON COLLECTION

GlissExpo 2012 - Seignosse, France

From 30 September till 2nd October, professionals were invited to enjoy our new season collection and hospitality at our booth, as we celebrated Summer 13 at GlissExpo 2012 together with the new French sales team and Jonathan Paskowitz. 

Paying tribute to the brand’s heritage and history, we displayed three Lightning Bolt Pipeliners, handcrafted by the surf brand legend, Mr. Rory Russell, made in Hawaii, along with the new release of apparel.

LIGHTNING BOLT FALL WINTER ‘12 COLLECTION

40 years after its creation by Hawaiian surf legends Gerry Lopez and Jack Shipley, Lightning Bolt has become synonymous with the aloha spirit, the surf life and quality products to brave all seasons. The spirit of adventure that is deeply rooted in Lightning Bolt carries on to our Fall Winter 2012 collection, the concept of which circles around the experience of surf and exploration during the winter months. The emblematic surfboards and versatile sportswear keeps you prepared for the colder days. At its core, this collection is influenced by the first chills of fall, getting out in the water on a freezing winter morning, and sitting around the fire with friends. During development we focused on finding a balance between the adventurous, practical, and relaxed all tied together by the lifestyle of the surfer. To help face the elements before a morning surf or the late night autumn chill, we chose natural materials like wool and cashmere, light and warm, fleece jackets with Teflon to repel water and French goose down filled jackets for an ultra-light weight comfort. Lightweight shells to cover up, quality layer pieces, knit sweaters of the highest quality and of course our board shorts and Tees are always here for the islanders. Every piece in this collection was developed with the purpose of keeping you ready to explore and living aloha- regardless of anything. Lightning Bolt’s Fall Winter 2012 collection will keep you warm and ready for whatever comes your way.
