Spring-Summer 10 – The hawaiian appetizers
So we are here, directly from Hawaii, opening the doors that have been locking our newest Spring Summer 10 collection, featuring Mens and Womens, both with three lines: Black, Red and Style Masters.
Nick Walker, our photographer, in action shooting Dominique and Brooke.
Dustin Franks, the californian surfer and songwriter, introducing a Style Masters t-shirt.
Txaber Trojaola, our basque team rider at Hykilay wearing the black label.
Kara Smith, our american designer on the way to the session. Left is Eric Hobbs.
Do you see a chicken carefully watching the swell? She’s not looking at them. She’s thinking if she’s surfing with a 6’2’’ or a 6’6’’. In Hawaii, even chickens go to the beach.
Pedro Soares, the portuguese team rider, after the barbecue.
Jeremy “Gege” Brasset presenting a new Style Masters shirt @ Hykilay beach
And while some are hard working, Maria João, our promotion director, Jonathan Paskowitz and Paulo Couto, our designer in Europe, are just relaxing and smiling for the camera.

Between The Lines - the true story of surfers during the vietnam war
Narrated by acclaimed writer and director JOHN MILIUS (Apocalypse Now-Big Wednesday), BETWEEN THE LINES explores the Vietnam War through the prism of the surfing sub-culture. This documentary film offers unique insight into the dramatic effect that the Vietnam War and draft had on young American men who rode waves.
BETWEEN THE LINES delves into the lives of two surfers who chose opposite paths, Pat Farley and Brant Page. Pat Farley, a heavy combat vet, volunteered for service in Vietnam and was discharged with a full psychiatric pension. Conversely, Brant Page evaded the draft and fled to the surf rich Hawaiian Islands where he was unceasingly pursued and eventually arrested by the FBI.
While following the lives of these two surfers the film chronicles the impact of the Vietnam War on the surfing lifestyle. From the peaceful shores of Hawaii to the canopy jungles of Vietnam, BETWEEN THE LINES excavates the surfing cultures response to an extraordinary circumstance.
The DVD is now available at XTREMEVIDEO
