For the first time we will be presenting our new Autumn-Winter 10 collection and also our new surfboards collection.

Spring-Summer 10 – The hawaiian appetizers

 There’s not only surf in this awesome trip to Hawaii.  The islands have so many perfect natural scenarios, that we feel like we can take thounsands of photos and we don’t get bored at all. And to make things better, our models are gorgeous.
So we are here, directly from Hawaii, opening the doors that have been locking our newest Spring Summer 10 collection, featuring Mens and Womens, both with three lines: Black, Red and Style Masters.

Do you see a chicken carefully watching the swell? She’s not looking at them. She’s thinking if she’s surfing with a 6’2’’ or a 6’6’’. In Hawaii, even chickens go to the beach.

New Autumn-Winter Mens Collection

The new Lightning Bolt mens collection brings you a lot of novelties so you can start the coldest seasons in great style. This year we divided the collection in three main lines:

STYLE MASTERS: We went back to the iconography of the brand’s golden period. The silhouette and the original graphs are combined with high quality materials and angular restructuring of some forms into an apparel line which merge the vintage and the urban naturally.
RED LABEL: The Soul Line features the search of the ideal of collective, of tribe, of community. We went to the origins of the brand, back to a time when surfers were surfers (and rockers were rockers, nerds were nerds…) and we travelled to present times revisiting all the surf imaginary. The Red Label Collection gets its inspiration from their essence, their relaxed, cool and carefree style, then recycling their aesthetics and applying it to our present days. Graphs are manual sketches and rough drawings, freely created for a contemporaneous look, based on an ethnic approach. This season’s palette presents burnt shades and materials consist mainly of natural fibres such as cotton, with an aged washed outlook. The silhouette is comfy and relaxed and the fit is loose or regular. Fleeces and jerseys appear in a great variety of washes and dyes (garment dye, dip dye, acid wash, etc.), creating a vivid and relaxed look and prints with no touch. There are complex stripes, inspired by the horizon line; checks and a work wear look in high-quality materials stand out in shirts; fantasy twill and canvas weave (checks, stripes, etc.) for outerwear.
BLACK LABEL: In an urban-oriented line, we play with the duality of elements and sobriety is combined with experimental and fun spirit. In the colour palette, the sobriety of black, grey, brown, Bordeaux and white is lighted up by shades such as electric blue, purple, orange and green. The fit is slim. Light jerseys and fleeces feature angular cuts, with inspiration in the logo morphology, with minimal stripes (sometimes featuring optical illusions), with graphics (handmade or glued), characterised by a strong experimental, amusing and a bit ironic character. Knitwear in ultra-thin wool contrast with heavy-weight knits; shirts are in high-quality cottons. Slim or regular fit denim are minimalist, in raw or a natural-used aspect.

New autumn-winter womens collection

Autumn and Winter are just about to arrive and so is our new womens collection.

The Artsy girl collection line brings back that Every girl is a superstar in the swinging sixties Artsy glam style. Refined, cultured, sophisticated
and meticulous. Black is a must in the art world, but the touch of silver glam it up.
Sporty yellow and sophisticated tones of grey are prevailing together with Horizontal slashes of colour in the hand knit sweater.
The new neo-romantic stripped t-shirt has all the eye-catching details such as the gorgeous dresses in a neo empire style.

The party people collection line is inspired in a new generation of girls that are taking over the world’s dancefloors.
Neo punk madness is out, sexy humour is back, along with respectable glamour in a new mix of styles. Daring, fun, brave and energetic, always in the hunt for the novelty.

Back to School Collection - 09

The absence of limits for creation and expression can generate the most alternative and unexpected illustrations or graphics. That was the challenge Lightning Bolt made to the designers team for the new backpacks, pencil cases and wallets collection

This year the main novelty is the Neo Pop line.
Neo Pop line comes as a reinterpretation of the artistic trend mostly known as Pop Art.
Batons, cars, dogs and guitars are the elements highlighted with the models: Doggy Style, Gas Free, Guitar Hero and Lipstick.

The models Nightmare, Ghost, Chinese Empire and My Dream are design inspired in the classic cartoons and animation movies graphics.

For those who are willing a more conservative design we suggest classic patterns and logotype graphics

Berlin is just one of the best cities to be in Europe. Lots of trendy people, trendy bars and discos and trendy events. We were there to present the Spring Summer 10 collection and we had a really good time.
We only can tell you that we were presenting the Style Masters, the Red and the black lines for Mens Collection, and for the Womens collection the Red and the fitness lines.
The bad news is that you will have to wait to see all those amazing clothes and accessories.
Clue: Watch carefully the last photo. Not all the collection is completely secret.

Lightning Bolt goes to Bread & Butter

BREAD & BUTTER is Europe’s strongest and most important trade show in the Street and Urbanwear sector.
After four very successful years in Barcelona, BREAD & BUTTER has now returned to its home town Berlin – a city full of creativity, innovation and future. The event is coming up, the countdown is on. Less than one week from now, BREAD & BUTTER will open its doors in the new location, the former airport Berlin-Tempelhof.

For the first time this year, Lightning Bolt will be presenting the Spring-Summer 2010 Collection.
There’s a lot of novelties in our clothing, namely new lines. But you will have to wait till then so you can unveil all.

Lightning Bolt is now in Spain - Hooray

We are really excited to announce that we reached the Spanish territory. Hooray for the Lightning Bolt fans in Spain.
Well, it’s not easy to invade this big country, and we now already reached the regions of Basque Country, Asturias, Galicia and Andalucia.
