Lightning Bolt & Allah-Las in Berlin: Feeding the Aloha

In early July, Lightning Bolt took the L.A. based band Allah-Las to Berlin for life performances at the Bread & Butter Berlin summer show and at the 14 Oz. trendy store in the city center. 

The band is comprised of bassist Spencer Dunham, guitarist Pedrum Siadatian, singer/guitarist Miles Michaud and drummer/singer Matt Correia. Each member was either born and raised in or moved to L.A. at a young age. Their sound is rock ’n’ roll, plus an amalgamation of each member’s individual influences, which range from the Rolling Stones to ’80s jangle pop, a genre characterized by chiming guitars and pop melodies. 

In the events, the Californian artists evoked the essence of summer days, carrying some sunshine everywhere they went. 

Good vibes. Good times.

Berlin is just one of the best cities to be in Europe. Lots of trendy people, trendy bars and discos and trendy events. We were there to present the Spring Summer 10 collection and we had a really good time.
We only can tell you that we were presenting the Style Masters, the Red and the black lines for Mens Collection, and for the Womens collection the Red and the fitness lines.
The bad news is that you will have to wait to see all those amazing clothes and accessories.
Clue: Watch carefully the last photo. Not all the collection is completely secret.

Lightning Bolt goes to Bread & Butter

BREAD & BUTTER is Europe’s strongest and most important trade show in the Street and Urbanwear sector.
After four very successful years in Barcelona, BREAD & BUTTER has now returned to its home town Berlin – a city full of creativity, innovation and future. The event is coming up, the countdown is on. Less than one week from now, BREAD & BUTTER will open its doors in the new location, the former airport Berlin-Tempelhof.

For the first time this year, Lightning Bolt will be presenting the Spring-Summer 2010 Collection.
There’s a lot of novelties in our clothing, namely new lines. But you will have to wait till then so you can unveil all.
